Branson, Missouri

This place is a complete sensory overload in the worst possible way. Everything about this place, the shows, the hotels, the terrible billboards everywhere, screams at you to waste your money on it. Silver Dollar City, the focus of my loathing, is a great example of everything wrong with this city. You pay way too [...]

Kansas

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

I recently went on a road trip through Kansas, and let me tell you–there are some bad-smelling places ’round these parts. The worst was probably Garden City, which must’ve been named by the same people who decided New Jersey was the Garden State.
Also pretty bad was Dodge City, which does have some Wild West-style [...]

Miami Florida

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Don’t go there that’s it. Miami is a pretty place but the people are ridiculously rude. Lots of people have a problem because people speak Spanish but that does not bother me at all seeing as how I speak it fairly well. The problem for me is that people there are ridiculously rude here is [...]

The Bryce Resort in Virginia

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Okay so this is not so much a don’t go there as a don’t try this. We went to this ski resort in the summer because we wanted to see the mountains and do some cave exploring. All of that worked out fine but since I was at a ski resort I wanted to look [...]

Days Inn, Orlando, FL

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

At the Days Inn, I sat on the bed and it collapsed.
When the maintenance guy came, he lifted the bed and readjusted the bricks that was holding the bed up. Fortunately, we were only there one night and went on to a condo in Tampa the next night.
