I HAVE BEEN TO GERMANY, AUSTRIA, ITALY AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. I AM A FEMALE TRAVELING ALONE.
MALLORCA IS UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. I WAS IN TEARS IN LESS THAN A WEEK AND WANTED TO COME HOME. IN FACT, LOOK AT TRIPADVISOR.COM AND DO A SEARCH FOR ‘UNFRIENDLY MALLORCA’ AND SEE HOW MUCH COMES UP. WISH I HAD DONE THAT.
I live in America and have a villa in Mallorca. It is stunning beautiful and the locals are very friendly but only to rational sane folks who do not get over emotional and burst in tears!!!!

Went to Mallorca some ten years ago with my wife expecting the charming Med island of myth. Wrong. Palma Nova has to be on any “worst places to visit list” that I can think of. If loud music blaring on the beaches from 9AM and drunken British youth on cheap holiday are your thing, by all means head straight to Palma Nova. if not, get out of there on landing and head to remoter parts of the island. When we were there, we found that the “other side” of the island still retained what we were looking for.

I will be visiting a friend for about 10 days in Alcudia. .He will then go back to France, and I will be housesitting their home for about 3 weeks. I will be alone. Will there be enough opportunities for me to connect with others there? I am in my late 40;s

Hi. You’re a strong woman to travel alone, and I find it great.
Hope we could know what makes you say Mallorca is a bad place because I know many people who loves Malorca. And tourists always wanted to go back there.
