Don't Go There!

Have you had a trip or vacation that just went horribly wrong? We want to know...if there is a hotel, airline, town, city, state or vacation spot you would avoid like the plague, let us know here.

The sales people will hold you against your will for over 5 hours trying to sell you a $55,000 time share and NOT let you just say no. They will bring in three different ‘closers’ to try to make you buy their timeshare.

  1. In my experience a solid “no I am not interested” usually does the trick.

Or for the more verbose inclined quote Hugh Akston from Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged: “It is a hopeless quest, the more hopeless because you have no inkling of what an impossible task you have chosen to undertake. I would like to spare you the strain of trying to devise some argument, trick or plea that would make me give you the [answer] you are seeking. Take my word for it: ‘no.’”

  3. Unless the doors are locked, you can just get up and walk out. We bought a timeshare over 10 years ago and did not have a bad experience at all and never felt we were pressured or anything.
