I made a reservation over the phone and this hotel booked me for the wrong day. They charged my credit card and when I called them up about it, they denied it happened and refused to address the problem. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company and this turned into a 5+ month drawn out pain in the *$%. I was scheduled to stay 2 nights with my husband and we actually, trying to be forgiving people, stayed 1 of the nights — but the staff were awkward, the whole experience tainted, we canceled the 2nd night. (This happened during the dispute process.) We finally got the refund after arbitration and the hotel wasn’t very happy. This business is run by incompetent, inconsiderate, dishonest, disrespectful staff.
DO NOT EVER STAY AT THE HOTEL COLORADO! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!

I stayed at this hotel for a week in April 2007. For work. Altogether my company had 5 or 6 rooms there for well over a month with 9 to 10 different people staying there. We never had any trouble with the staff or the hotel. I appreciate that you had a very bad experience but I just wanted to add my experience with this place.
