From the website, the hotel is beautiful. The outside is well maintained. The lobby was nicely decorated. It was relatively quiet. My first reaction was that this hotel was going to be great. Upon entering the room, I noticed an unusal odor. It smelled like a mix of stale cigarettes and cleaning chemicals. The bathroom was not clean. I had to clean off the toilet seat before I could use it. The drain in the tub was very slow and the bathtub filled up with water while I was in it. (EWW!!)The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. The sheets had stains on them. (This I didn’t notice until I was crawling into bed late at night…) The air conditioning only worked part of the time. The beach however was beautiful!
