The location was frightening. The parking was a ghastly $32 a night and the hotel was not comfortable. The lobby is beautiful…and that’s about as far as it goes. We asked for a king and we got two doubles. We were told they could not offer us a king until the next day, although we had booked one for that all nights. Our room had an enormous red stain on the carpet. At least it was dry. My husband and I kept hopping over the stain. The sheets were like burlap. The shower had hair in it. The room was hot, even with the A/C all the way down (and I’m from NOLA, I’m used to heat). We left two days early. All in all, an awful experience.
