I was very dissapointed in this hotel. I searched before I booked… and the hotel looked beautiful, but when we got there we were very dissapointed. We were suppose to have smoking room, no ashtrays, called the desk for ashtray and extra towels… NEVER got them after a hour and a half wait. The room was very dirty, spilled coke in the corner by the window, mold around the tub caulking and on the tiles on the wall. Something was on the wall in the shower. The shower head was covered in lime deposit. We arrived in Miami much earlier than expected 8am…. couldnt check in till 3pm. There was no parking, drove around till 3 was hot and sweaty by the time we got in a room and the room was very hot. NO air. After going down to the desk several times to let them know the condition of the room and asking for another room (we booked a suite for 4 adults), they said they could move us to anther room but it was not a suite…. but wouldnt give us a price cut for down sizing our room. I had to argue about it to finally get another room. Breakfast in the restraunt was awful. I ordered eggs and ham, got scrambled eggs with no flavor, and a slice of turkey ham lunchmeat. Was never given any silverwear to eat with asked for it and never got it.. had to walk over and get it off another table myself, never got a refill on my coffee, asked for jelly for my toast and never got it. The bathroom in the 2 floor lobby was terrible condition, cracked counter top, missing faucet handle, hole in wall by commode, and leaky ceiling tiles. I was very disappointed in my stay for the money I spent to stay there. I pointed all this out to them and took a bunch of pictures too.
