If you like to have a calm vacation, then don’t go to Sri Lanka. The corruption will kill the joy of traveling around.You will be told how poor the country are. Hmm… i don’t think so if u look to what prices there are on everything, its cheaper in Europe and don’t forget, clean.

I will have to agree, I spent my last R&R there for 3 weeks, it was the worst vacation I have ever taken. Beggars everywhere, and they all expect money. Every where we visited was dirty with homeless people. We stayed at Ella Adventure park for one night and while we were there one of the staff members came into our room and stole my girlfriends purse with all our money, our passports, camera memory cards. This adventure park is way off the beaten path, nobody else would have come miles off the road into the jungle to do this. The owner is a police major and he insisted it was none of his staff(of course it would be bad publicity for him he said). He told the other police that they offered us the use of their safe, which they didnt, every hotel I stayed at prior to that place had one in the rooms and I used it. From then on it even got worse, we were at the beach and the sri lankan guys wouldnt leave my girlfriend alone, staring one swam up to her and even grabbed her(big mistake for him). I would never suggest anyone to go to this dirty country. I especially dont advise on going to the Ella Adventure park.

Sri Lanka:
CANT go to the North and the East of the country because of cover-ups in the aftermath of their war - concentration camps, mass graves and shit apparently!
and
DONT go to the South of the Country - due to NASTY pieces of works down there - including very very young children in the tourist sex industry, local gross alpha-fools trying to manhandle white tourist females, and touts who sell trash non-stop!
eugh!
Spend only a few more hours on the flight and please go to Malaysia instead. Beautiful and so much more civilised and decent!!and cheaper, my oh my!!
